Overnight Task Team Lead

Summary: Reporting to the Assistant General Manager (AGM), the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the team members working the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution. Responsibilities: Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution. Ensure adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed. Maintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Ensures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries. Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight. Supports the AGM with coordination of all “Special Events”; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing, and pricing of all advertised items. Supports the AGM in carrying out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems, maintaining a positive, harassment free working environment for all associates.
