Our client is a US-based digital marketing agency with 25+ years of history serving small businesses across America — primarily home services, HVAC, contractors, landscaping, medical practices, and other local service businesses. They are a certified Google Partner with a track record of holding Google Ads accounts to a 10%+ conversion rate, roughly 3x the national average, and social media campaigns running at 2x the national click-through rate. We're hiring a Paid Media Manager to own Google Ads and Meta Ads strategy and execution across the client portfolio. You will personally manage campaigns for 40+ local service businesses simultaneously, with monthly ad budgets typically ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 per client. You will be directly accountable for lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rate, and return on ad spend. This is a hands-on, in-the-accounts role. Daily optimization, weekly testing, monthly reporting, and ongoing collaboration with account managers and the content team are the rhythm of the job. The agency works on plain-language client communication — you will be expected to translate dashboard data into outcomes business owners actually care about. The role reports to the Director of Marketing / Agency Principal and operates fully remote on a Monday–Friday schedule aligned to US Mountain Time business hours. Responsibilities Google Ads Build, launch, and optimize Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns for local service businesses Conduct ongoing keyword research and disciplined negative keyword management to maximize budget efficiency Write conversion-focused ad copy with strong CTAs oriented toward calls and form fills, not click volume Set up and manage conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Manage bid strategies including Target CPA (tCPA), Target ROAS (tROAS), and Maximize Conversions, and adjust based on real performance Perform regular Quality Score audits and landing page alignment review
