Part-time Bookkeeper (Unanet)

We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper ( Unanet Experience Required ) to become a long-term member of our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values flexibility, and prefers a predictable monthly workload over a full-time schedule. The role generally requires only a few hours each month, with most work centered around month-end close and maintaining accurate financial records. Position details Part-Time (1099) Fully Remote; however, you must live in the United States (no exceptions) U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required (no exceptions) Flexible schedule Approximately 5-10 hours per month (may vary slightly based on monthly activity) Long-term position Responsibilities Perform monthly accounting close activities Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Review and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and record journal entries as needed Review employee timesheets and labor allocations for accuracy Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed Ensure financial records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready Support year-end accounting activities Work closely with company leadership regarding accounting questions and financial reporting Required Qualifications Three or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Recent experience using Unanet ERP Experience supporting a government contractor Working knowledge of DCAA-compliant acc
