Payroll Specialist

Role overview Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Payroll Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll make sure everyone is paid correctly and on time, every cycle. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST). Key responsibilities Run end-to-end monthly and weekly payroll cycles Process starters, leavers and contract changes Handle statutory deductions, pensions and payroll queries Reconcile payroll reports and post journals to finance Keep payroll records accurate and compliant What you'll need Hands-on payroll processing experience Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Xero Payroll or BrightPay Strong numeracy and a careful, methodical approach Clear written and spoken English A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace What's on offer A salary of R26,000 – R30,000 per month, fully remote work, UK business hours, and a stable long-term UK client.
