Clients include consultants, industry, real estate, healthcare, government, and homeowners. Services cover a wide range of tests, including asbestos (PLM/TEM), mold, bacteria, VOCs, allergens, Legionella, radon, lead, silica, and more. The technician would prepare samples for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) utilizing direct and indirect prep methods. The technician would, in addition, prepare and analyze samples for Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM). Technician would be responsible for sample preparations as described within laboratory Standard Operating Procedures, accurately entering data in the LIMS, reporting to clients, and general laboratory maintenance and cleaning. Responsibilities Prepare Air, Dust, Wipe and Water samples for analysis by TEM Prepare and analyze Air samples by PCM Accurately enter laboratory observations and data into the LIMS Be able to work independently while coordinating work with co-workers Performs and completes necessary and assigned laboratory QC tasks Archiving and disposal of samples Perform laboratory cleaning tasks of glassware, equipment, and surfaces
