Position Summary: Pioneering Medicines is seeking an accomplished and highly collaborative Senior Principal Scientist, In Vitro Pharmacology to lead the development and implementation of innovative in vitro pharmacology strategies across a diverse portfolio of therapeutic programs. This role will serve as a scientific leader responsible for designing, developing, validating, and applying cell-based assays that enable lead identification, lead optimization, mechanism of action studies, and translational as well as in vivo decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple therapeutic areas spanning Immunology, Oncology, and Metabolic diseases, as well as Translational Sciences, and In Vivo Pharmacology teams to accelerate the discovery and development of transformative therapeutics. The ideal candidate is an innovative scientist with deep expertise in assay development, mechanistic pharmacology, and matrix leadership within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial research environment.
