Platform Engineer - Distributed Data Stores Adyen is in search of a Platform Engineer for our NoSQL team with a strong background in Python or Go. to join our team in Amsterdam. Our platforms are scaling rapidly, and you will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and scaling distributed data systems that power our core services. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, database administration, and infrastructure operations. You’ll be responsible for both building the tools that manage our data and the underlying infrastructure that keeps our clusters running. You will collaborate with engineers across teams to manage and enhance distributed data stores such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Redis, while helping us explore new service offerings such as Clickhouse. You will help to design partitioning and clustering strategies, improve system performance, and ensure high availability for globally distributed services.
