Ensure the reliability, availability, and safe operation of electrical power distribution systems, including 115 kV and 22 kV substations. Monitor system performance and lead troubleshooting activities to minimize power interruptions and equipment failures. Develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives for critical electrical infrastructure. Support power system expansion, modification, and upgrade projects. Ensure the reliability and effectiveness of power protection systems, including protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, CTs, VTs, and associated control systems. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for protection relays and protection equipment. Review, analyze, and optimize protection coordination studies and relay settings to ensure system selectivity and fault isolation. Investigate protection system malfunctions, nuisance trips, and electrical incidents, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate periodic testing, calibration, and verification of protection devices to ensure compliance with engineering standards and operational requirements.
