Principal Consultant - Equity & Systems Improvement for Literacy

What You Will Be Doing As a Principal Consultant, Equity & Systems Improvement, you will lead a portfolio of projects that improve K-12 literacy outcomes and access to high-quality instruction. In this role, you witll serve as a subject matter expert in evidence-based literacy, systems improvement, and technical assistance; oversee client engagement, project delivery, quality assurance, and development of actionable resources; and build relationships with clients, partners, and funders to expand Education Northwest ’s literacy impact and visibility. Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibility: None Lead and manage a portfolio of literacy-focused projects, including scoping, budgeting, staffing, risk management, financial monitoring, quality assurance, delivery, and closeout. Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to schools, districts, state education agencies, and partners to strengthen coherent literacy systems, including curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, and implementation support. Guide teams in developing and implementing evidence-based literacy interventions and improvement strategies grounded in reading, writing, language, adolescent literacy, and supports for multilingual learners. ·Collaborate with clients and partners to assess needs, analyze data and evidence, develop theories of action and improvement plans, and monitor implementation, outcomes, and sustainability.
