Principal Software Engineer

Participate in presales activities, discovery sessions, technical workshops, tenders, and RFI/RFP analysis. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation strategies. Design enterprise-level architectures for Java-based distributed systems and microservices platforms. Prepare technical proposals, estimations, architecture diagrams, delivery assumptions, and implementation roadmaps. Define technology stack, infrastructure approach, integrations, security principles, and team composition. Present and defend technical solutions during Customer discussions and stakeholder meetings. Support Sales and Delivery teams during presales and project initiation phases. Lead technical project start-up activities and transform high-level concepts into actionable implementation plans. Establish architecture standards, engineering guidelines, and development best practices. Guide engineering teams during the first delivery stages and support onboarding and technical interviews. Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security compliance. Resolve complex technical challenges and mentor Senior and Lead Engineers. Drive technical decision-making while balancing business goals, delivery timelines, and quality expectations. 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical leadership responsibilities. Strong hands-on expertise in Java ecosystem development. Deep knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture. Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and event-driven systems. Practical experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Strong cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
