The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. The role can be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. As a Product Counsel, you will advise Product and Engineering teams on a broad range of legal issues supporting the development and launch of consumer-facing products and features, including in areas such as AI, privacy, and consumer protection. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, as part of a Legal & Public Policy team that values practical problem‑solving, teamwork, and humor. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel on new and evolving consumer products and features, including guidance on AI, privacy, consumer protection, and related regulatory considerations. Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to help identify legal risks early and enable responsible, efficient product development. Collaborate cross‑functionally within Legal & Public Policy and with partners across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and other teams. Draft and review clear, consistent disclosures, terms and other agreements, and in‑product communications
