Product Line Project Management Director

This role combines strategic objectives and leadership of the projects portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO) as part of the wider RSC ‘excellence in execution’. It ensures alignment between tender and project excellence, portfolio strategy and governance standards to deliver projects efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with technical and safety requirements. The position drives continuous improvement and performance monitoring through key metrics (KPIs). Projects Portfolio Strategic and Performance Management PMO Governance & Leadership Leadership & Teams management Projects Portfolio Strategic and Performance Management Define and maintain project portfolio strategy aligned with organizational goals. Manage projects execution - delivery performance, risks & opportunities registers across the portfolio. Ensure prioritization and milestone tracking across projects. Analyze cost, schedule, and variances to anticipate risks and drive mitigation plans (cost savings, leverage contract management opportunities) Implement margin control measures and monitor consolidated Contract Margin Improvement Plan Ensure that Return of Experience, Lessons Learnt are capitalized from past/ongoing projects and considered for new tenders – is a member of the new tenders validation committee for what is Project and contract management, risk and opportunities, costing are concerned. PMO Governance & Leadership Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Deploy Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track project performance against baselines. Develop standardized processes for planning, execution, and reporting. Define and monitor relevant KPIs and executive dashboards for decision-making Leadership & Teams management Manage and develop teams of project managers, project planners (France teams in solid line, other sites in dotted line) and tender professionals.
