Product Quality Engineer

The Vehicle Product Quality Engineer will focus on monitoring, analysing, and improving vehicle quality, post-production. The role excludes pre-production and development phase activities, focusing on all Volvo products in dealer and customer service environments, with a regional focus in the assigned market area. Key areas of focus: Quality monitoring Identification and scoping of Market Concerns from external indicators. Evaluation and escalation of potential product quality issues. Continuous monitoring of Technical Exchange System (TES) concerns. Communication with National Sales Companies and Product Performance Level 2. Market investigation and data analysis to support technical resolutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Market Representation Represent Markets in the Region towards Product Performance. Represent Market Monitoring EMEA and Product Performance in technical meetings and communications. Issue Identification & Escalation Identify, define, quantify, and prioritize product deviations based on Vehicle Reports (VR), Warranty data, Parts sales, and Customer feedback. Document and escalate Market Concerns via Technical Exchange System (TES). Update and drive TES concerns through to resolution with Product Performance Level 2. Communication & Collaboration Maintain continuous, clear communication with market technical staff and central Product Performance teams. Inform markets on progress, actions, and resolutions for technical concerns. Support Product Performance by conducting market investigations and providing vehicle reports.
