To manage the Co-Pack operation for IPS at our CML chilled site in Telford. The Production Manager will meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with Quality and Safety standards. You will be a role model for best practice at all times and through innovation deliver cost savings and provide support to the site. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 06.00-14.00 Key Duties of a Production Manager: Become an ambassador for all Co-pack activities and liaise with customers and clients. Create a sustainable method of communication that links at all levels within the business. Liaise with all group functions to resolve operational day to day issues and plan to prevent re-occurrence. Work with finance dept. to identify areas of spend, reviews and budget compliance/setting. To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations Provide a service based on Reliability, Quality and Repeatability, which is both measurable and auditable. To ensure that all areas comply with hygiene audits, both internal and external. To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to Develop a highly focused and efficient operation at site. Challenge the ways of working and deliver through innovation cost savings. Monitor, control and minimise waste. To act as specialist for machinery knowledge Ensure best practise is developed and used, constantly seeking improvements to layout, efficiency and stock
