Symetra is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-impact, multi-year business transformation initiative focused on our Stop Loss business! About the role As a Program Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring successful delivery while aligning program execution with business strategy. You'll partner with leaders across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Change Management to drive day-to-day delivery, manage dependencies and risks, coordinate vendors, and provide executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong background in program and project management, with expertise in governance, roadmap planning, release management, and cross-functional collaboration. You are skilled at leading teams through complex initiatives, resolving issues proactively, and delivering results on time and within scope. Experience working in Agile environments and managing enterprise-scale transformation programs is highly desirable. What you will do Partner with Program Sponsor(s) to develop comprehensive business cases and Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA's) that maximize ROI and value delivery across the Program of projects. Guide and influence the Program Sponsor's vision toward optimal solutions. Partner with Program Sponsor(s) to drive decision-making and recommend re-scoping, postponement or cancellation of projects as necessary. Hold others accountable to drive all projects within the Program to on-time, on budget, on-scope delivery within established variances. Proactively influence change and manages change with limited friction.
