Are you a practical, delivery focused engineer with both site experience and contract awareness? Join our project teams delivering nationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail, water and highway schemes comprising tunnelling and other heavy civil works, and help ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Join our Project & Programme Management team and help us deliver excellent outcomes Your new role As a Project Assurance Engineer you will provide on-site technical and NEC contract support to the project team from enabling works through to completion. You will supervise construction activities, check quality and safety, support inspections and testing, and help with handover and defect resolution. You will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager and may undertake delegated contract supervision duties. Working pattern This is a predominantly site-based role, with a majority of projects delivered in and around Dublin. Your key responsibilities Provide day-to-day site supervision and technical input Ensure work complies with scope, contract, quality, HSSE and programme requirements Review and comment on contractor documents (QMPs, ITPs, method statements, risk assessments) Agree and witness inspections and testing; monitor off-site fabrication and as-built information Monitor contractor and consultant performance and raise issues for resolution Support claims, compensation events and basic contract administration Inspect completed work, manage defects and oversee remedial action Maintain site records, diary entries and progress photographs Support reporting, site meetings and stakeholder engagement Assist with subcontractor checks and project close-out activities About you Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar NEC ECC Supervision Accreditation Chartered member of a relevant professional body e.g. Engineers Ireland, RICS or equivalent Over 5–10 ye
