Role Summary The Project Engineer I within our EPC Client Services team supports utility-scale solar, BESS, substation, and related infrastructure projects. This role operates under the direction of a Senior Project Manager. You’ll manage defined scopes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, track schedules and budgets, maintain document control, and proactively identify risks. For smaller projects, you may serve as the day-to-day lead with oversight. Strong organization, follow-through, and judgment are essential. Duties & Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution Manage defined project scopes under the direction of a Project Manager, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and client expectations. Coordinate internal discipline teams and external subconsultants to support timely and accurate deliverables. Track project schedules, budgets, and progress against milestones; proactively identify risks or scope changes and escalate as appropriate. Support preparation and submission of monthly invoicing and assist with financial tracking. Maintain organized document control, including meeting minutes, action items, RFIs, submittals, and record drawings. Review deliverables for completeness and conformance to project standards prior to submission. Apply established project management procedures with sound judgment and increasing independence. Client & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for internal team members and support client communications under the direction of a Project Manager. Participate in client, consultant, and subcontractor meetings; prepare agendas, document key decisions, and track action items. Ensure alignment between client requirements, project scope, and internal execution plans. Communicate schedule updates, risks, and scope clarifications clearly and promptly.
