Project Engineer Malmö, Sweden We are looking for a structured and proactive project engineer with a technical engineering background to support the delivery of complex energy and industrial projects. The role will work closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary engineering teams, helping to keep project activities coordinated, plans maintained and technical interfaces actively managed. This position is well suited to someone who already has experience from engineering projects and project management assistant roles. The role requires strong coordination skills, practical planning capability and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and project stakeholders. Your new role The role provides broad exposure to project execution, engineering coordination, planning, governance and stakeholder management in major energy and industrial projects. It offers a strong development path towards future roles in project management, project controls, PMO leadership or interface management. Your key responsibilities will be: Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination and follow-up of energy, industrial and infrastructure projects. Coordinate activities across engineering disciplines, project stakeholders, contractors and clients, with a strong focus on technical interfaces, dependencies and required decisions. Maintain and follow up project plans and schedules in Microsoft Project, including milestones, ownership, dependencies and agreed actions. Monitor progress against the project plan and highlight risks, delays, resource constraints and critical interfaces.
