Job Description Position Overview Invenergy is hiring a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA). This role is on the Invenergy Construction team and is a key driver of how our wind, solar, and battery storage projects come to life. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated communications infrastructure, partnering with diverse stakeholders to shape conceptual designs, translate them into detailed designs, and drive procurement, commissioning, acceptance testing, and turnover. Your work will integrate and secure the SCADA/OT/IT ecosystem, including RTUs, controllers, energy management systems, network switches, firewalls, annunciators, and HMIs, ensuring every project starts up safely, reliably, and ready to perform from day one. Responsibilities Lead safe, compliant commissioning and startup of SCADA and communications systems for wind, solar, and battery projects. Bring systems online, validate performance through acceptance testing, and deliver a clean turnover to Operations. Build and secure the communications network that runs the plant: IP plans, protocols, physical network interfaces, and firewall rules across SCADA/OT/IT equipment.
