Job title: Proposal Manager Location: Remote (U.S.) Salary: $80,000 - $120,000/year About the Role We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead and manage federal government proposal efforts. This is a fully remote position where you'll oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, from reviewing opportunities to submitting compliant, high-quality proposals. The ideal candidate has experience with federal proposals, enjoys working independently, and can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of federal proposals (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and task orders). Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and timelines. Write, edit, and review proposal content, including technical approaches, management plans, staffing plans, executive summaries, and past performance. Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings, color team reviews, and final submissions. Ensure proposals are compliant, accurate, and submitted on time. Maintain proposal templates, resumes, and reusable content libraries. Support capture planning, win strategies, and business development activities. Help improve proposal processes and establish best practices across the organization. Collaborate with leadership, business development, recruiters, technical teams, and subcontractors.
