We help some of the largest energy companies in UK, Europe, the US, and Australia understand where they make and lose money, from portfolio level down to individual customer contracts. Our annual renewals represent millions in recurring revenue, and every one of them is an opportunity to deepen the relationship, expand into new modules, and prove the compounding value of our platform. About the Role As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our data platform meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Our SaaS platform empowers energy retailers with data processing at scale, from pricing and forecasting to complex analytics. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to build confidence in our product by embedding testing early in the development cycle and ensuring smooth, reliable releases. You’ll be the advocate for quality and the critical link between feature development, user feedback, and product delivery. Responsibilities - Define the testing scope and plan, and execute test cases across features and sprints. - Report on test coverage and product stability for each sprint/release to support go/no-go decisions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, review acceptance criteria, and provide feedback early in the process. - Identify and communicate risks that could impact product quality. - Act as a bridge between the product, support, and internal user teams by collecting feedback, troubleshooting bugs, and performing root cause analysis. - Automate acceptance tests using our existing test frameworks. - Conduct exploratory testing, and run regression and performance tests (automated where possible). - Promote good QA practices and foster a quality-first mindset within development teams. - Doc
