About the Role We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our client's team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both manual and automated testing while working in a fast-paced Agile environment. Initially, the primary focus will be on manual testing to help address a backlog of product enhancements and validation efforts. Once this phase is completed, the role will transition toward expanding and maintaining a comprehensive automated regression test suite , with an expected long-term split of approximately 60% manual testing and 40% automation , working alongside another QA team member. You will be responsible for designing and executing testing strategies, validating new features, building and maintaining automation frameworks, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with Development, Product, Support, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong automation experience, is comfortable switching between manual and automated testing as business priorities evolve, thrives in rapidly changing Agile environments, embraces AI-assisted tooling, and is passionate about delivering high-quality software across web, mobile, and desktop applications. Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Manual Testing Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and Windows desktop applications, with an initial focus on validating a large backlog of features and enhancements. Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, compatibility, and performance testing activities. Validate new features, bug fixes, and releases against business and technical requirements. Ensure software quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
