The Quality Engineer coordinates resources to support manufacturing operations, leads quality and cost-improvement projects, and supports new product launches. This role drives quality improvements across the entire value stream, from vendors to the end customer. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Communication: Coach and develop Quality Technicians, Monitors, Analysts, and Group Leads. Lead daily communications during Operations Huddle Board meetings. Deliver timely updates across all appropriate plant functions. Problem Solving & Quality Improvement: Drive problem-solving efforts using containment, root cause analysis, and CAPA / 8D methodologies. Execute improvement projects leveraging PDCA, Six Sigma, and data-driven priorities (WAR teams). Implement permanent corrections to eliminate process and product failures. Translate feedback from the customer, process, and business into actionable plant improvements.
