Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager (Northeast)

Position Summary Amerit Fleet Solutions , one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced, inspired and mission-driven Regional Fleet Manager to join our growing team! Under the guidance of the Senior Operations Manager, the Regional Fleet Manager (RFM) will be responsible for overseeing a Regional field team of ~50 remote field professionals consisting of remote-based Business Development Managers (BDM), market-based Fleet Managers (FM), and field technicians across ~25 locations. The RFM will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Northeast Region (current coverage will be the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania) and will be accountable for the performance of both internal and external KPIs, safety, turnover, quality of work, technician utilization, inventory management, and other operational items. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in field-based operations and maintenance/fleet management. Candidates with a strong and diverse background in automotive and diesel repairs; servicing a large fleet of light, medium and heavy-duty equipment to include gas, electric, and diesel-powered vehicles are preferred. Candidates should also be well versed in process improvement, operational best practices, and financial efficiency. This is a remote-based position managing multiple sites and will involve regular travel in the Northeast.
