Remote Construction Takeoff Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Remote Construction Takeoff Specialist to support estimating and pre-construction activities for a growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, and foundation plans, calculating material quantities, square footage, and concrete-related measurements, and supporting the preparation of project estimates. This role requires strong AutoCAD proficiency, prior construction takeoff experience, and the ability to review plans and specifications with a high degree of precision. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a small internal estimating team, maintain accurate project documentation, and contribute to the timely delivery of bids and estimates. Experience in concrete construction is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for foundation, structural, and architectural plans. Analyze construction drawings and specifications with a high level of accuracy. Calculate square footage, PSI requirements, and material quantities for concrete projects. Collaborate with the estimating team to support project bids and estimates. Maintain accurate and organized takeoff and estimating documentation. Review project plans and specifications to identify scope requirements. Assist in preparing cost estimates and bid packages. Communicate with team members regarding project details and quantity clarifications. Organize and maintain digital project files, drawings, and related documentation.
