We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our Health Science team, with a specific focus on candidates who bring proven experience conducting scientific and clinical studies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this role, you will help Oura deepen its scientific and clinical presence in the UAE by designing high-quality studies, building strong external collaborations, generating publishable evidence, and translating findings into insights that support research, product development, and broader business priorities. This is a remote role based in the U.S with a strong preference for candidates based on the East Coast (Eastern Time). Oura’s remote employees in major cities like Boston, DC, and New York occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations. What you will do Lead the design of scientific and clinical studies, including observational, prospective, retrospective, and interventional study types, with a particular emphasis on work involving UAE-based collaborators, sites, or populations. Analyze and interpret complex wearable, physiological, clinical, and multimodal biobehavioral datasets to generate meaningful health insights.
