Job Description As our new Electrical Resident Engineer, you will engage in various levels of complexity construction-related projects which will require the application of standard construction techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related construction/engineering tasks. You must be capable of collaborating and making evaluations and interpretations, exercising independent judgment selecting and applying standard engineering/construction techniques, procedures, and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications. Your key responsibilities will include: Utilizing knowledge acquired through engineering or construction management degree to analyze the engineering concepts of a project. Ensuring that the technical components meet the engineering requirements of the contract documents. Overseeing construction personnel to ensure construction procedures, methods and materials follow those specified in the contract documents. Directing Construction Superintendents, Project Managers, Foreman, etc. to comply with contract documents and report non-conformances throughout the duration of a project. Reviewing design criteria, specifications, drawings, submittals, RFI responses, change management, and other pertinent documentation.
