The ideal candidate will manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and related administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations in Home Health Care. This role is essential for providing an excellent patient experience and supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include: Scheduling and Coordination Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments, including follow-ups and diagnostic tests. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize scheduling and resource allocation. Maintain an up-to-date calendar and manage time-sensitive changes. Patient Interaction Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, or in person to confirm appointments and provide the necessary information. Answer patient inquiries regarding appointment times, procedures, and preparation requirements. Ensure patients receive appointment reminders and instructions in a timely manner. Administrative Duties Verify and update patient information, including insurance details and contact information, during the scheduling process. Document all scheduling activities in the electronic medical record (EMR) system accurately and promptly. Work with billing staff to ensure proper coding and authorization for scheduled services.
