About the Role The Security Engineer plays a vital role in proactively securing our client environments. The role is perfect for someone who is detail oriented, effective with time management, and has strong internal and client facing communication skills all while processing everything they do through a strong security focused lens. The right candidate will ensure the proper deployment and ongoing health of our security solutions, and serve as an escalation point for our reactive security team. Accountabilities Primary Accountability 1: Security Solutions Deployment Implement our managed security tools as part of client onboarding or one-off projects. Meet communicated project timelines and deadlines. Ensure appropriate documentation of solutions. Send appropriate internal and client communication throughout deployment. Primary Accountability 2: Ongoing Solution Health Monitoring and remediation of solution installation and functionality Quarterly review of solutions adapting the Continuous Improvement Model Primary Accountability 3: Vulnerability Scanning Conduct recurring vulnerability scans of client environments. Communicate findings and remediation steps to clients. Ownership of remediation steps. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Required Organization Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Communication: Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage client communications and team interactions proficiently.
