Job Location: This role is 100% remote. Clearance: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance. Job Description: In this position as a Senior Associate, Federal General Ledger Accountant, you will support federal general ledger accounting activities by preparing accounting entries, performing reconciliations, and maintaining supporting schedules to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. You will assist with monthly accounting operations, Treasury reporting, and audit readiness while supporting compliance with federal accounting requirements. In this position, you will also: Prepare recurring journal vouchers and supporting documentation. Support monthly accounting entries for Treasury interest, subsidy transfers, collections, accrued interest, and related activity. Perform reconciliations between feeder systems and the accounting system. Prepare payment vouchers, apportionment/allotment logs, journal voucher (JV) logs, accrual logs, and reconciliation schedules. Support GTAS edit checks, front-end adjustments, and fund monitoring templates. Research Standard General Ledger (SGL)
