About You You are a Senior Azure Site Reliability Engineer passionate about designing, automating, and operating highly available cloud platforms. You thrive improving reliability through Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and modern engineering practices while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments. You enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, collaborating across engineering teams, and driving operational excellence. You take ownership of production environments, mentor other engineers, and continuously improve platform reliability through automation and best practices. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or related roles. 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Azure environments. Expert-level experience with Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Strong experience operating Azure PaaS services, including Azure Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Policy. Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, Subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS Zones, and VNet Peering. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Strong experience implementing cloud observability with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, dashboards, and alerts. Experience supporting enterprise-grade production environments with high availability and operational excellence. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
