About the Role We’re on a mission to make the financial industry safer and more transparent. As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll build cutting-edge tech that detects and mitigate threats and fraud campaigns. This is a high-impact role with room to shape both product and architecture. You will work closely with the data scientists, researchers, and developers to implement state-of-the-art solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Our Stack Java 21+/Spring 3+ frameworks Mongo/Cloud SQL/Big Query Google Cloud Platform Agentic AI coding Github REST APIs GitHub Actions for CI/CD What You’ll Do Design, build, and scale backend services that power CUBE3’s real-time fraud detection platform. Architect and implement microservices with strong attention to reliability, performance, and security. Collaborate closely with data scientists, researchers, and frontend teams to turn threat-intelligence research into production-ready systems. Own features end-to-end—from scoping and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Participate in system design discussions and contribute to high-level architectural decisions as we scale the platform. What We’re Looking For 4+ years working with Java/Spring frameworks 1+ building micro-services 1+ GCP/AWS stack A degree in computer science or equivalent Have worked through the full application lifecycle experience Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Have owned features from gathering requirements to delivery Fluency in written and spoken English Bonus Points Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Experience in using and building NoSQL (MongoDB), SQL, REST API Effective communication skills and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Big data tools like Apache Spark/Hadoop/Flink/BigQuery Understanding of testing frameworks and automation testing tools.
