Major Function The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining WWF’s technology systems. Primarily focusing on online infrastructure in Azure and managing resources in AWS and Google Cloud as required. This position also entails supporting M365, servers/VMs, operating systems, security, and networking across both cloud and on-premises environments for WWF-US and its Country Offices. Key Responsibilities Manage and support WWF’s Azure infrastructure, including provisioning new subscriptions, resources, and roles to support organizational programs and initiatives. Ensure the stability, resiliency, and robust protection of all cloud-based systems within WWF. Develop, modify, review, and execute system backup strategies for all WWF platforms. Analyze, establish, and troubleshoot network connectivity across Azure resources, VNETs, sites, and tenants. Maintain, configure, and optimize WWF’s Azure environment. Administer a variety of Azure virtual machines, including Windows domain controllers, IIS servers, SQL database servers, miscellaneous Windows servers, Red Hat Enterprise VMs, and redundant virtual firewalls in both production and staging environments. Create, update, and provide support for Azure Enterprise Apps for Single Sign-On and AZ Proxy. Manage DNS services within Azure and Cloudflare.
