Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a motivated and skilled COBOL Mainframe Developer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques) team. The ideal candidate should have a senior background in COBOL development within the banking sector and be proficient in both French and English. Main Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications in compliance with business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define requirements. Perform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. Utilize Pacbase tools to enhance application performance and functionality. Document technical specifications and processes for ongoing maintenance and future development. Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to COBOL and mainframe development.
