Our client, an innovative publicly traded cloud infrastructure company and AI compute provider in an exciting stage of growth, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist in its search for a Senior Corporate Counsel / Associate General Counsel, Disputes (title dependent on experience). This attorney will report directly to the General Counsel and will own the company’s global disputes portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to business and legal leaders across the organization. As the company has scaled, so have the volume and variety of its disputes. This attorney will manage matters spanning commercial and employment disputes, intellectual property, government and regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, and the third-party legal process that comes with operating a global platform. This is a broad, high-impact role within a small, collaborative legal team, working closely with Engineering, Product, Sales, Security, Finance, and People across the organization. Responsibilities Own the company’s global disputes portfolio end to end — from early assessment and pre-litigation strategy through resolution — including commercial, employment, intellectual property, and non-practicing entity matters. Lead the company’s response to government and regulatory inquiries, including regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, subpoenas, preservation and takedown demands, escalated privacy complaints, and requests from domestic and international law enforcement. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Sales, Security, Finance, and People to identify potential disputes early and provide practical recommendations that balance legal exposure with business objectives. Advise the People team on employment matters and dispute avoidance, and support the commercial team when claims or threats surface in negotiations and customer escalations.
