About the Team Our Data team is the backbone of Nesto Cloud, managing the flow of data that powers Canada’s most advanced mortgage platform. As a Senior Data QA Developer , you won't just be "checking results"; you will be a specialized engineer focused on the integrity, reliability, and scalability of our data pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Data Developers to ensure our BigQuery environments, Airflow DAGs, DBT Models, and ETL processes are bulletproof. What you’ll be doing Architect Data Quality Frameworks: Design and build robust, automated testing suites for data pipelines using Python and SQL to validate data integrity, schema consistency, and transformation logic. Shift Left in Data: Partner with Data Developers and Product Managers during the design phase to define data contracts, quality gates, and acceptance criteria before code is even written.
