Job's mission As a Senior / Quality Engineer at ASM, you will join the Global Quality (GQ) team and collaborate with contract manufacturers, manufacturing sites, engineering, and field service teams to meet customer expectations. Your responsibilities include driving contract manufacturing / manufacturing quality improvements, addressing non-conformances, and implementing quality systems aligned with ASM’s technology roadmap. This role suits those with strong quality expertise, and a drive for continuous improvement in high-tech manufacturing. What you will be working on Lead investigations of manufacturing non-conformances, customer complaints, and field quality issues. Facilitate structured problem-solving activities using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and other quality tools. Drive containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification to prevent recurrence. Drive both ASM and contract manufacturing quality performance through data analysis, risk identification, corrective action implementation, and promote continuous improvement systematically. Develop and optimize inspection plans, quality control methods, and workmanship standards. Conduct product audits as necessary prior to release for shipment, to confirm compliance with quality standards for customers.
