Ameresco is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Engineering Manager to lead our growing Renewable Energy Engineering team. This is a 100% remote position offering complete geographical flexibility and a high degree of autonomy to manage your team and drive projects forward from anywhere across the country. In this leadership role, you will be the technical anchor and strategic supervisor for the development of energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs) that involve behind-the-meter and front-of-meter solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), microgrid, and EV charging infrastructure projects for commercial, industrial, governmental, municipal, and institutional clients nationwide. Working in close partnership with Sales Executives and project stakeholders, you will lead a team of dedicated engineers who serve as the technical backbone of the project development process—from early feasibility through construction handoff, construction support, and operations. The ideal candidate pairs deep renewable energy expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset to treat every project as their own business venture.
