So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on: Significantly enhancing the frontend testing experience (TypeScript, JavaScript) for all engineers at Canva. You’ll build the software, frameworks and infrastructure that underpin how engineers test their code — rather than testing individual product features yourself Designing, building and evolving core components of our Quality Platform to empower thousands of engineers to test effectively and confidently Leading the technical design and delivery of platform solutions, partnering with and influencing engineering teams across Canva to improve developer velocity and quality Driving significant engineering initiatives to reduce test flakiness, improve test health visibility and implement smarter diagnostics, navigating complex and ambiguous technical challenges along the way Improving the systems behind our CI/CD test feedback loops, ensuring engineers receive fast, actionable test results Owning and proactively improving the architecture, health, scalability and performance of our testing infrastructure, making pragmatic technical trade-offs as Canva continues to scale Contributing to the technical direct
