About You You are a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus who combines deep technical expertise with solid software engineering fundamentals. You excel at understanding complex systems, navigating existing codebases independently, and delivering scalable, production-ready solutions with minimal guidance. You take ownership of technical challenges, proactively identify risks before they become blockers, and make sound engineering decisions based on architectural principles rather than relying on external guidance. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Software Engineer. Strong professional experience building and maintaining backend applications using Python. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs. Strong understanding of software architecture layered application design, and software engineering best practices. Experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda. Experience working with MongoDB. Experience contributing to frontend development using Vue.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills. Experience working with Git and Agile development methodologies. Proven ability to quickly understand existing codebases, identify technical risks, troubleshoot independently, and contribute effectively within established architectures without requiring continuous guidance.
