Senior IT Architect | IT Architectural Engineering Services Location: Remote – Available across U.S. and Puerto Rico Clearance Level: Public Trust (ADP/IT-II); Tier 3 Investigation (NACLC) Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Summary We are seeking candidates for a potential opportunity as Senior IT Architect to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) enterprise IT infrastructure. This role leads the design and development of scalable, secure, and interoperable IT systems that align with mission-critical healthcare delivery and readiness operations. Key Responsibilities Design architectural and technical solutions for enterprise-scale infrastructure supporting both on-premise and MED365 cloud environments. Develop strategies and documentation that guide engineering implementation and architectural consistency across DHA systems. Ensure system designs are interoperable, sustainable, and aligned with DHA Enterprise Architecture policies and governance. Lead or support functional and technical requirements validation, including Requirements Worksheets (RWs) and Governance input. Facilitate iRAM and RAM sessions and coordinate with SMEs, IA staff, and stakeholders during solution development. Conduct feasibility and architectural assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity, scalability, and performance standards. Draft and maintain Test and Evaluation Strategies (TES) to support operational readiness. Manage architectural documentation throughout the systems lifecycle and provide support during acquisition planning. Deliver Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts to meet governance and compliance standards. Lead re-architecture efforts for fielded solutions based on mission needs or system limitations. Collaborate with DoD, MHS, and industry stakeholders to align technical direction and solve architecture/integration challenges.
