Senior Manager, Software Engineering

As Marqeta's Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead and evolve our Credit onboarding team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling the next generation of innovative credit onboarding platforms that power modern fintech experiences. You will lead the Credit onboarding engineering team responsible for building, operating, and modernizing core components of our credit platform. This role requires a leader who sets a high bar, moves with urgency, and brings clarity in complex environments. You will partner closely with Product, Data, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver resilient, secure, and highly available systems at scale. The Impact You’ll Have Own the end-to-end Credit onboarding platform responsible for new credit customers onboarding. Drive platform resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence Drive AI-first automation , reducing manual handling and increasing efficiency across dispute classification, evidence management, and prioritization. Partner with Product to shape roadmap, sequencing, and delivery strategy Lead and mentor a high-performing team, improving engineering velocity and system reliability through intelligent workflows and automation.
