The Senior Mechanical Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and supervise mechanical engineering staff. What you’ll be responsible for: Leading mechanical engineering scope for design projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Overseeing the design of HVAC systems, energy modeling, and technical specifications for diverse projects. Preparing and performing quality control on design documents, including drawings, specifica tions , and calculations. Conducting field surveys, shop drawing reviews, and executing BIM implementation plans. Reviewing designs for code compliance, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Assigning work to mechanical engineering staff, setting clear expectations, and providing feedback. Developing labor estimates and entering labor forecasts for the Mechanical group in the company project management system. Mentoring and supervising the mechanical engineering team members, providing learning and development guidance, conducting check-ins, and an annual performance review. Acting as the primary client int
