This senior mechanical engineering position will provide you with the opportunity to develop innovative solutions and products benefiting both freight and transit railroads throughout the world. Work with a talented team of mechanical, electrical, software, system and test engineers to apply and further develop your mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills. What do we want to know about you? Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong background in product design and development Proficient in 3D modeling and Creo or SolidWorks Proven expertise in designing mechanical systems for high-vibration environments, such as those found in transportation applications Experience in solving complex technical and quality problems Strong background in electronics packaging and thermal management Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Preferred qualifications: Hands-on experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques What will your typical day look like?
