ICF 's Disaster Management (DM) Division seeks a fully developed Senior Mitigation and Resilience Analyst to support our growing portfolio of nation-wide hazard mitigation planning, grant, and program management projects. This position is U.S. remote-based, with location preferences in California. The ideal candidate must be able to travel up to 25% domestically based on current and prospective clients. Non-managerial role. The DM Division supports state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) governments and non-governmental partners to design and implement plans, policies, and programs that promote local pre-disaster mitigation action and support long-term housing, economic and infrastructure recovery post-disaster. Our primary clients are SLTT governments administering U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster recovery and hazard mitigation programs, including the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). This position will have multi-faceted responsibilities related to project technical delivery. A successful candidate will be equipped to lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned tasks, including but not limited to FEMA 406 and HMGP project scoping, and FEMA mitigation grant applications and administration.
