Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role You'll help build the software platform underneath Swiftly's products during a period of real investment. Our near-term priorities: modernizing our cloud infrastructure, expanding into a second AWS region, standardizing observability, and making the systems that ingest real-time transit data from agencies more reliable. You'll also own the foundation that lets Swiftly engineers work quickly and safely with AI, including visibility into how those tools are actually getting used. Over the next 6 to 12 months, we expect this to evolve into AI-assisted paths through our development lifecycle, supported by automated quality and security checks that ensure those paths are safe to merge. This is a platform role focused on infrastructure, tooling, safeguards, and developer experience. It's also a cross-functional one. You'll gather requirements from teams across the company, document decisions clearly, and build alignment well beyond your immediate team. Your work will help
