Senior React Native Developer

About You You are a React Native Engineer with strong experience building and maintaining production mobile applications across iOS and Android. You enjoy developing reliable user-facing experiences, integrating mobile applications with backend services, and solving complex challenges across authentication, payments, and account management workflows. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can take ownership of mobile development initiatives, work closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams, and contribute to high-quality, scalable mobile solutions. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Expo and Expo Router. Proven experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs. Experience implementing form validation and complex user input flows. Experience implementing authentication flows, including OTP and/or MFA. Experience working with WebViews, preferably in payment-related flows. Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for mobile applications. Familiarity with native mobile build tools such as Xcode and Gradle/Android Studio. Experience working with Git and collaborative software development practices. Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Experience with payment integrations, account management, or autopay functionality. Experience developing and supporting applications across both iOS and Android.
