Senior RF Hardware Engineer

As a Senior RF Hardware Engineer on the hardware team, you will be responsible for owning the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated RF devices used by a surging wave of space customers. You will work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communications systems. Responsibilities - Develop and own RF products across PCB, box, and integration levels - Own trades and analyses on new designs and question requirements - Bring up, troubleshoot, and qualify new designs - Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to enable large-scale manufacture of products Required Skills - 5+ years of robust experience designing circuitry in RF bands across frontend and conversion chains - End-to-end PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication and assembly - Experience with electronic design and analysis tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer - Excellent understanding of RF metrics such as S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, and EVM - Excellent understanding of RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis - Experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers) - Experience with low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phased locked loops, oscillators, and filters Desired Skills - Experience building complex PCBs in Altium Designer - Experience selecting components for radiation-susceptible environments - Experience working with AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, and similar digital-analog conversion interfaces - Solid experience soldering and reworking boards (0402 SMP components, QFN packages) - Experience performing communications link modeling and solid understanding of DSP fundamentals - Knowledge o
