Senior Software Engineer – DevOps/Observability Platform

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of our observability platform that reduces manual effort, improves operational efficiency, and helps Engineering teams deliver value to customers faster. This role supports Nexthink’s Engineering organization of 300+ people. You will operate in a highly autonomous, foundational role, acting as the primary engineer responsible for the observability domain. You will own technical direction and execution, while partnering with stakeholders who identify and prioritize observability opportunities. The role requires strong engineering judgment, end-to-end ownership, and comfort operating independently in a production environment with real business impact. Your main responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and own an advanced observability platform, integrating systems through APIs using DataDog, AWS services, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry and more. Leverage AI and LLM capabilities to automate root-cause analysis and surface improvement opportunities across the platform. Own the administration and optimization of the observability platform for performance, reliability, cost, and governance.
