Senior Software Engineer

**This position is a direct hire for one of our clients. This is a fully remote position. Eligible candidates must currently reside in the US and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.** Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their product engineering team and play a key role in modernizing their platform architecture. This position is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who combines strong hands-on development expertise with technical leadership, architectural thinking, and the ability to drive projects from concept through delivery. This individual will help lead critical engineering initiatives, including the evolution of a monolithic application toward a service-oriented architecture, while partnering with internal teams and external development partners to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Primary Duties Manage technical projects from planning and design through implementation and delivery. Serve as a senior technical contributor, balancing hands-on software development with technical leadership responsibilities. Design scalable applications and make architecture decisions that support long-term growth and performance. Help drive modernization efforts, including the transition from a monolithic system to service-oriented architectures and cloud-based solutions. Collaborate with product, engineering, and external development teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives. Evaluate and recommend AWS services and infrastructure patterns based on technical and business requirements. Mentor team members and provide technical guidance when needed, helping strengthen overall engineering capabilities.
